Halloween is just around the corner!

I love dressing up! I love passing out candy! I love decorating! I love everything about Halloween! I'm the lady in your neighborhood who starts decorating in September :o) ha ha ha

So, I thought it would be fun to take a peek inside my house and show you guys what I've done to decorate for Halloween!

I love this candy corn table cover that I got at Wal*Mart for $4!

So, I was on Pinterest a few weeks ago, looking up Halloween DIYs and I came across this really adorable craft to do with your kid(s) So, I went to Michael's and picked up a white canvas (they didn't have the size I wanted in black) some black and white paint, and some cool Halloween ribbon. I used a 50% off coupon and saved about $5! I wish I knew what the exact total was but I think it came out to be less than $20...

I just loved the way it turned out, it now hangs on the wall near the front door, right underneath our spooky ghost, which was also purchased at Michaels :)

We bought 2 to hang inside the house.

I also purchased a craft pumpkin (pictured below) I planned on giving it a make-over but haven't gotten around to doing so. When I find the time I'm going to get some mod podge and some glitter and glam it up!

Here's our Halloween cookies in the oven!  Scarecrows and pumpkins :-)

And to top it all off..... A Pumpkin Cupcake Candle from Bath & Body Works... this things smells ahhh-mazing!

You can't just have your house 'look' Halloween... it's gotta SMELL like it too!!

Happy Halloween from our house to yours!!!

Amanda Todd

I was looking on my news feed the other day when I came across a page called 'RIP Amanda Todd' It caught my attention, so I decided to click on it.

If you haven't heard what happened to her and care to know you can read about it here but long story short, this girl was bullied up until the day she killed herself. She was only 15 years old and left behind a video that explains her story... Click here to check it out... As I watch her video, all I could think is how I wish I would of seen it before she passed away. Maybe I could of brought some light into what she saw a dark world. Reading the comments on YouTube, you see hateful remarks... such as, 'she deserved it' or 'I wish it was all worth it' At first, I got angry seeing such nasty comments but then I realized no matter what happens in the world, good or bad, there will always be someone there to say something awful about it.
Did she make some bad choices, yes... Did she deserved to suffer for it, not at all!

Noone should ever feel the way this girl felt....

She was so beautiful, so young and so talented... I just wish she would of seen it too. She had an amazing voice! Click HERE to watch her video!

Bullying is not a joke and should always be taken seriously. SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT.

If your being bullied, please do not hesitate to speak to a teacher or parent. Just remember if people are trying to bring you down, it just means you are above them.
